ELENA LADICH, MD, FACC ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Dr. Ladich’s primary interest is human atherosclerosis and valvular disease.

Dr. Ladich currently serves as the Chief of Anatomic Pathology at CVPath Institute. Her research interests include the natural history of atherosclerosis and cardiac valves. She has been trained in both cardiovascular pathology and was a recipient Callendar-Binford Fellow in the Department of Environmental & Toxicologic pathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington DC. Dr. Ladich completed both her medical training and residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Georgetown University School of Medicine and has been board certified in both. Dr. Ladich has authored and co-authored nearly 30 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and more than 10 book chapters.
