Dr. Virmani Honored by TCTAP as Recipient of the 11th Master of the Masters Award

Dr. Renu Virmani recipient of the TCTAP “Master of the Masters” Award

For Release, April 22, 2021, Seoul, Korea: Dr. Renu Virmani, President, and Founder of CVPath Institute, is the recipient of the 11th “Master of the Masters” award that was presented virtually at the TCTAP Conference by Seung-Jung Park, MD from the Asian Medical Center of the Republic of Korea.

Since 2011, TCTAP has bestowed ‘Master of the Masters’ upon one of the most outstanding experts who has made remarkable contributions to the field of interventional cardiology, as well as to the growth of TCTAP. Thanks to Dr. Virmani’s outstanding expertise and support, TCTAP was able to offer Asia the most comprehensive interventional cardiology program, thus the Organizing Committee of TCTAP generously decided to present her with the award this year. Dr. Virmani, an internationally renowned cardiovascular pathologist, has spent decades honing her skill and sharing her knowledge with the global community. Dr. Virmani joins a distinguished class of recipients in receiving this award. Since the award’s inception, Dr. Virmani is the first woman to have received this distinguished honor.

TCTAP is the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics Asia Pacific Conference where interventional cardiologists, cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, vascular surgeons, vascular medicine specialists, radiologists, scientists, and many others interested in interventional vascular therapy and medicine gather to review the latest basic and clinical investigations, learn the newest treatment strategies, integrate the newest interventional techniques and devices for coronary, peripheral, and structural heart disease and more. This is the second year that the conference has been held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
