Histotechnology Professionals at CVPath
March 10 is the annual observance of Histotechnology Professional’s Day. CVPath honored its histotechnology technicians with a catered lunch. Histotechnology is the science centering on the microscopic detection of tissue abnormalities for disease diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Using chemicals, dyes, and reagents, our histotechnologists prepare pre-clinical and clinical research specimens to be screened by pathologists, by staining tissue so distinct parts can be viewed and a diagnosis can be made. Histotechnology is related to histology, which is the studying of human and animal tissue.
